[It's attached to a joker playing card, because of course it is. RM has probably had to deal with this for years now.]
Noticed our wardrobe manager is out on her own business. Need another hand, ma'm? I could squeeze in some more work with my usual. The show must go on, etc.
[Ringmaster replies to this by basically bursting into Joker's trailer the moment that he's returned to it, continuing as if there hasn't been time between him delivering the letter and now.]
All things must come to an end, I suppose! [She puts her hands on her hips.]
[Joker almost trips over his own wings in surprise. Well! It's been some time since this has happened. Trying to recover like he didn't just almost throw up his own heart in surprise, he leans against the nearest counter.]
I've got a bit of talent in the area! Y'know, as a talented gentleman, I do get around a bit, and it's easier ta do some things yerself, isn't it?
So I take it there ain't any other takers immediately hoppin' for the job?
Well... no. There's hardly anyone in wardrobes at the moment to begin with, let alone anyone skilled enough to take on leadership. You can't build a peak without a foundation.
So hard ta find good wardrobe folks these days, huh?
[Or, you know, trick them into servitude, whatever. He knows it’s all the same to the Ringmaster, and there’s no point going over it. Staying on her good side is something he rather likes, after all. Ruining his place would be counterproductive.]
Anyway, I meant what I said. Until we get someone more suited ta the job, I don’t mind takin’ on a little extra work. Besides, it directly affects my lot, so I’ll be in trouble if we got no one over there, won’t I?
As it is, it's only Tanyuu and Carly. A real mess, if you ask me. I'm going to have to get some of the cinders working there soon, and I just know they'll get all the fabric filthy.
And that just won’t do at all, when all of us are tryin’ ta look presentable!
[Cinders are alright when he needs an extra- hand? Is that what you call what Cinders have?- in doing up his clothes, but making up all the outfits… Yeah, it’d be a mess.]
If I talk with any visitors who look like they got any talent with clothin’, I’ll be sure ta try and send ‘em yer way. [That is to say, get them under contract.] But for now… Headin’ wardrobe until we have someone better is the most I can do right off the bat.
